Cynthia is a passionate women’s rights advocate dedicated to the promotion of women’s rights, gender equality and social justice for all. She has about 10 years of experience in undertaking research, project design and coordination and monitoring and evaluation. As a Programme Officer, Cynthia is responsible for managing NETRIGHT’s work programme on Economic Justice. She works directly with women and their groups in finding innovative methods to help address women’s livelihood issues. She coordinates projects on Women’s Livelihoods, Agriculture and Land with specific focus on Rural Women Farmers, Agriculture and land commercialisation.
Her passion as a women’s rights advocate is to contribute to addressing structural and systemic challenges that have created barriers inhibiting women and girls from enjoying their economic rights in Ghana. Cynthia holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with Sociology from the University of Ghana.
