NETRIGHT in its quest to contribute to strengthening the women’s movement in Ghana since 2007 has organized the National Feminist Forum for women, women rights organizations and groups, young persons and feminists to clarify for themselves what can be done to ensure an inclusive and vibrant women’s movement in Ghana. The 1st NFF created space for women activists committed to gender equality and social transformation to clarify for themselves; the meaning of feminism and how it translates into their work.
The Ghana Feminist Forum brings together feminists from across the country to deliberate on issues of key concern to women and girls. It further provides an opportunity to collaborate and understand the needs of women in different spaces by exploring diversities and intersectionality and how these translate into the work of feminist and women’s rights organisations as we mobilise for change and bridge the gap to promote inclusiveness, shared leadership and ownership in order to strengthen the women’s/feminist movement in Ghana
