Know Who We Are
The Network for Women’s Rights in Ghana (NETRIGHT) is a network of civil society organisations and individuals who have a clear interest in working together to bring a gender perspective into national processes and advocate for policy change to str jobitel.com ngthen women’s human rights.
NETRIGHT aims to campaign for attitudinal and policy changes to achieve women’s equal rights and to draw attention to violations of women’s rights. It also aims to create space for debate, discussion and clearer articulation of different positions within the Ghana women’s movement
on women’s rights issues, as well as other national issues.
To ensure inclusiveness, NETRIGHT provides a national advocacy platform for civil society organisations around national and international processes and educates the public about gender equality and women’s rights issues.
What we stand for
NETRIGHT’s main mission is to promote women’s rights in Ghana through the critical analysis of gender dimension of national processes and policies and advocate for policy change.
Our Thematic Areas
NETRIGHT’s operations are guided by feminist principles that explain women’s experience of subordination as historical and context specific and women’s organising to confront their issues as an important strategy for building gender equal societies

Mobilising and activism form a core focus of the network. NETRIGHT seeks at all times to multiply its mobilising platforms to expand its reach and enhance its impact.
Join Our Network
Membership is open to individuals, groups and organizations interested in promoting women’s rights and gender equity in Ghana. Persons working in foreign organisations/NGOs and organisations with party political affiliations may join only as individual members.
How to join
Send an application expressing your interest to join the Network. This should include what you have been doing to promote the rights of women in Ghana and two referees who are knowledgeable about the work you do around the promotion of women’s rights.
