Finance Officer
Vera Obo Saaku is the Finance Officer at the Network for Women’s Rights in Ghana (NETRIGHT), where she oversees the financial operations that support the organization’s mission for gender equity and social justice. She plays a critical role in managing and reporting on funds, developing and monitoring budgets, and ensuring strict compliance with donor requirements.
Vera is responsible for grant financial reporting, internal audits and the implementation of effective financial controls and procurement procedures. Her expertise spans grant and contract financial management, budget variance analysis, risk management, audit preparation and financial systems and controls. She has a strong background in developing financial policies and ensuring their alignment with best practices, supporting transparent and accountable operations.
Vera holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Studies and is an ACCA part-qualified professional, combining technical skills with a solid understanding of ethical finance practices.
