The Network for Women’s Rights in Ghana (NETRIGHT) is seeking a gender and social inclusion expert to analyse the manifestoes of Ghana's two major political parties (New Patriotic Party and National Democratic Congress) with a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) lens. The analysis will inform advocacy efforts for inclusive, responsive, and accountable governance in Ghana.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a desk review of the parties' manifestoes from a GESI perspective.
- Perform a situational analysis based on national and international frameworks.
- Engage relevant stakeholders for insights on inclusive governance.
- Produce a comprehensive GESI analysis report, including practical recommendations.
- Present findings at a stakeholders’ forum.
Qualifications
- A strong background in gender, social inclusion and development, with proven experience
- in GESI analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of GESI, socio-economic and governance issues in Ghana.
- Previous experience working with political parties, CSOs, women and marginalised groups
- is an advantage.
- Excellent research, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Proven ability to engage and consult with a wide range of stakeholders.
Timeline: The assignment is expected to be completed within four (4) weeks.
