Demakpor Anaglate

Programme Officer

Demakpor Anaglate is a Programme Officer at NETRIGHT.

She holds a Master of Philosophy Degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. As part of her graduate course, she studied as an exchange student at Wilfrid Laurier University, Brantford, Canada in the Department of Criminology at the master’s level. Prior to joining NETRIGHT, she worked as an assistant to social development officers and coordinated partnerships between NGOs and the department of social development in the Akwapim-North District of Ghana. Also, she worked as a teacher and as a teaching assistant at the University of Ghana.

As a Programme Officer, Demakpor coordinates key projects aimed at ensuring economic justice for women and other vulnerable groups.  She desires to be an important voice when it comes to women’s rights and inclusion where with community support, lasting change can be created.
