2025 NATIONAL YOUNG FEMINIST CONFERENCE (NYFC)

From 9th to 11th June 2025, young feminists from across Ghana will gather for the second National Young Feminist Conference (NYFC) under the theme, Claiming Space, Shaping Futures: The Power of Young Feminist Movements. 

 

Institutionalized in 2023, the NYFC was born out of a vision to create a safe, inclusive space where young feminists can connect, speak their truths, challenge the status quo, and craft a shared advocacy agenda that reflects the realities and dreams of the younger generation.

 

The 2025 NYFC will bring together activists to build collective power, share strategies of resistance, deepen their understanding of critical feminist issues—both local and global—and gain practical skills in grassroots organizing. As threats to our fundamental human rights continue to escalate, the urgency to come together has never been greater. Now more than ever, it is important for us to connect, strategize, and strengthen our movements through solidarity and shared purpose.
